What happens if eyelash extensions get wet before 24 hours?
If you accidentally exposed the lashes to water before you were supposed to – the glue is overloaded with moisture and dries immediately. This means that the lash extension hasn’t properly formed a bond with your natural lash and causes it to fall off.
Will water take off eyelash extensions?

How can I clean my lash extensions?
Apply a tiny amount of lash shampoo on each of the lashes. Use a cleansing brush to apply this shampoo. Gently rinse it off with water. Pat the lashes dry with a towel (lint-free).
What temperature should your lash room be?
The ideal temperature for your lashing environment is between 68-71 degrees Fahrenheit. Your adhesive should also be kept in a mild stable temperature around 65 degrees F. For best results, we recommend storing your adhesive upright, in a dark space, away from sunlight, such as a dark cupboard or drawer.
Will a humidifier ruin my eyelash extensions?
Although humidifiers and nano mist sprays can help you achieve the right environment, it may still be challenging to get the optimal humidity levels. As we mentioned earlier, lower the humidity, slower the drying speed of your lash extension adhesive will be.
Does cold affect eyelash extensions?
Temperature can affect the viscosity (consistency) of the adhesive. Just like any liquid, when the temperature drops, lash adhesive tends to solidify itself like it’s getting frozen. The viscosity of the ‘cold’ adhesive is higher than usual, so it will take longer to dry.
How do you sleep with eyelash extensions?
Resting your head and lashes on a silk pillowcase is ideal when you have eyelash extensions. Not only will it allow your lashes and the extensions themselves to glide on the surface while you sleep, but you will also avoid any lashes getting caught or pulled like when you use a cotton pillowcase.
How often should you wash your lash extensions?
We recommend you clean your extensions at least 2 – 3 times a week. However, if you want to keep your lashes super fresh and fluffy you should clean them every day especially if you wear eye makeup or have oily skin.
Why do eyelash extensions burn when wet?
The cause of the stinging is actually from a build up of oils/residue on the surface of the skin. Our skin produces oils daily and face products and makeup all have residues. When water hits the skin, it can cause these oils and residues to get in the eye and cause irritation.
